UHMWPE to replace HDPE PE100 segmented or injection elbows at scaling applications

For the scaling and embedding application, HDPE PE100 is commonly used. PE100 segmented or injection elbows, with inner cord generated by thermofusion, the inner cord generates encrustation and corrosion accumulation, which finally causing the total collapse of elbow or the whole system.
UHMWPE, as described in what is UHMWPE and UHMWPE pipe, it has property of chemical resistance and low coefficient of friction, and self-lubrication, the three properties made UHMWPE an ideal material for some scaling and embedding applications.
UHMWPE can be extruded continuously, thus, the uhmwpe elbow is one-time extrusion. The whole inner surface of elbow is smooth, without any thermofusion inner cord.
The above two property made UHMWPE elbow an ideal replacement for PE100 segmented or injection elbows at scaling/embedding applications.
